At the very beginning of 2015, we were approached to write a storytelling paper for UF & IFAS’s EDIS publications database. In case you aren’t familiar with EDIS, it is short for Every Day Information Source. It is a database of peer-reviewed documents about everything from digital photography techniques to Fertlization of Turfgrasses on Florida Soils.
What started as one publication quickly escalated in scope to three and then, eventually, four.
The primary question we looked to answer through writing these papers is:
“How does one tell the authentic story of their organization if they’ve never used storytelling techniques before?”
It took us months to write these papers and get them through the editing and approval process, but as of September 2015, all four papers are live on the EDIS database and we are excited to share them with you. These four papers can stand alone but are meant to be used as a body of information as they build on each other.
Our four EDIS publications, available in web and PDF format, are:

Letting Them In: Sharing Your Story with People outside of Your Industry (PDF)
Face-to-Face Storytelling (PDF)
