Imagine a friendly group full of eager storytellers, ready to regale with tales of joy and sorrow, hardships and growth. You will hear moments from different times of life from diverse walks of life every month in downtown Gainesville. There’s always a great crowd and we’ve seen friendships blossom over the years that we’ve been doing this.

As with all things, when the opportunity for growth arises, we must take it. The meetup had gotten about as far as the original organizer was going to be able to take it, so we are excited to announce officially that the meetup’s organizational duties will be taken over by our new Director of Community Initiatives, Alise Vick. She brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm for organizing events like these and since she took over in January has helped the meetup grow and expand.
We meet the third Thursday of each month at 7:30PM. The venue sometimes changes, so the best place to keep up with changes to the meetups is our Facebook page! Like us on Facebook to stay up-to-date on all of our meetups!
