On October 16, 2015, I walked up in front of a crowd of people at Volta, a local coffee shop, to present my PechaKucha talk: “The Power of Storytelling.” I was nervous and more than a bit scared.
Levy grew up in Africa in extreme poverty. He saw education as the only way out. However, how do you go to college when you can’t afford it? Desperate times call for desperate measures. He stole an education.
This last month Jaron and I have had the opportunity to lead a few storytelling workshops tailored towards the concept of using persuasive stories to affect policy change. In giving these presentations, I learned something about my own story...
